The lake is best known for boating and summer recreation. Residents and visitors enjoy power boating, jet skiing, wake surfing, tubing, kayaking, paddleboarding, fishing, and pontoon cruising throughout the warmer months. Multiple marinas, public boat launches, waterfront restaurants, and rental companies operate around the lake, making it one of the most active boating destinations in the Pocono region. Fishing is also extremely popular, with anglers targeting striped bass, smallmouth bass, walleye, trout, and panfish year-round. During winter, the area transitions into ice fishing, snowmobiling, and nearby skiing activities.
